Trace Colson was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. Trace is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, TN. After graduation, Trace moved to Atlanta, GA to begin his professional career in church music ministry. Trace has served as a music minister in Atlanta, Covington, Athens and Watkinsville. Trace currently attends and serves in the music ministry at Watkinsville First Baptist.
Trace also has years of business and sales experiences that have prepared him for his career in real estate. Trace was the National Sales Director for Spread The Word, Inc. Trace also worked for Courtesy Automotive Group in Conyers, GA as an internet sales manager. Trace's unique experiences in business and ministry make him the right choice to work for you.
Trace joined the Bryan Bufford Real Estate Team with Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty in May of 2020. In his spare time Trace enjoys spending time with his family that includes his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys playing golf and watching sports of all kinds.

I honestly never knew about the need for a realtor in a home buying process until this transaction. I’ve bought and sold many houses, once without any realtor involved - and it was mostly ok. This time, we had complications - hot market, problematic funding, personalities. Trace navigated all of those problems for me with grace and speed, and frankly I would not have made it through without him. He will be my realtor for as long as he’ll have me!
